Terms of Service

As we proceed, CONTRAST Technology Services is dedicated to bringing enterprise quality IT services to small businesses. It is important that we clearly outline our terms of services for our clients.


You agree to let CONTRAST Technology Services perform and provide computer services, repairs and upgrades as requested. You authorize the technician(s) providing the service or repair to install anti-virus and any other necessary software on your computer to perform required services. All software will be deleted or uninstalled upon completion of the service (unless purchased). Service(s) are provided to fix, upgrade, or otherwise repair the computer system(s) for which client or authorized representative requested such service(s). Your system is not ever intentionally harmed. The primary goal is to fix your computer or systems, not create or cause further damage. In the case of accidental damage of data to your system or data loss caused by already existing problems in your system such as viruses, bad configured software, or hardware problems/failures, Client agrees to hold CONTRAST Technology Services and any person(s) associated with CONTRAST Technology Services or involved in the work being done for Client harmless from damages resulting from such problems. It Client’s responsibility to backup data unless listed on Service Order. CONTRAST Technology Services will not be responsible for data loss. All Remote Repair services are subject to the terms in this agreement.

Billing Terms

Computer services/repairs are billed as stated on the service order or invoice provided. There is a minimum charge of $30.00 for any house call made or any service performed. Not all services are completed on site and therefore, must be completed at the storefront. An estimate of cost for work is provided before performing computer services/repairs. Estimates are not guaranteed. In the case that there is an unforeseen deviation beyond the above-estimated amount, every effort will be made to contact the customer and inform the customer of the situation and receive authorization to continue or stop at that estimate limit. In the case that you cannot be reached, work will be stopped until contact is established. Once you are reached; your decision to continue or stop will be honored by CONTRAST Technology Services. All services/repairs are subject to sale California State Sales Tax. All Remote Repair services must be paid before services are performed. If for any reason you are not satisfied, or we cannot complete the service, you will get a full refund. Full payment is due upon completion of services, upgrades, or repairs. Computer parts, hardware, and software that need to be special ordered must be paid in advance. CONTRAST Technology Services accepts cash, check, or major credit cards. You will be charged a $30.00 service fee for any returned check.

Abandoned Electronic Policy

All computers must be picked up within 60 days of the invoice date. Should item(s) remain over 60 days from the initial invoice date or an open work order inquiry be ignored by a Client for the same period, less arrangement with the owner, item(s) will be considered abandoned & will become the property of CONTRAST Technology Services. Any acquired item will be sold for as much as market value allows, ensuring recovery of lost time/money. Should an abandoned item sell for less than the initial invoice balance, CONTRAST Technology Services will render an additional invoice for the balance to your email address on file as well as a hard copy to the physical address on file. Should the remaining account balance maintain unpaid status after 30 days from the secondary invoice date, it will be turned over to collections & appropriate civil action will be taken.
